In this section you can purchase a 3d probe ready to use with a software like Mach 3 (not offered with the probe).
Above is an example of 3d scan I have done.

the probe tip is 2mm diameter so it gives a reasonable precision.  the body is 43mm diameter so that it can replace most of the routers / drills.

this probe is 3d, which means that it not only detects vertical surface but also side ones.
This is a very important feature as it improves the precision and also increase a lot the scanning speed.
